Taking a vacation in Birmingham is one of the best choices available for you when looking to experience a number of different activities while taking a cheap holiday. While visiting the Birmingham area, you will want to take in as many different places of interest as possible. Artifex
Artifex is one location that you will not want to miss out on seeing while on your tour. Here you will come across a number of different items such as furniture and paintings or glassware. You will be amazed with the quality of the ceramics available as well as the different items available to you in metal works. If you love items made from wood, then you will want to check out woodworks as well. If you want to purchase a new and more modern mirror for your home, you will want to consider the mirrors section of the store to see if you find one that you like.
Aston Hall
One location that you will not want to miss out on seeing while visiting Birmingham is the Aston Hall which was built in 1635. The hall was first started in 1618 but was not finished until 1635. This location is considered to be one of the greatest and best country houses in all of England. If you were to build a house of this quality and character now, you would have to have a large amount of money in this day in age. The hall was built by the Holte family and would remain in the family until 1817 but would then be sold. The home was then rented to the son of the Watt family who would live here until his death in 1848.
Canal Museum
The next place of interest that you will want to see while taking a tour of this region is the Birchills Canal Museum. The small museum will allow you to see a little information on the Walsall’s canals. Once you have seen what the history holds for this region, you will want to be sure to then move onto see what the Black Country Museum has to offer you. The museum was founded and established in 1975 and holds a number of items that helps you to see the history of the Black Country region as well as the heritage of the area as well.
