How cheap is it to eat in Birmingham?

Visiting Birmingham on a tight budget and want to fill your stomach?

The cheapest option is to head for Tesco’s or Sainsbury’s. These supermarkets sell sandwiches and drinks that are perfect for a quick and inexpensive lunch. Sandwiches are sold from £2, orange juice for £1.

Mcdonald’s, KFC, Burger King and other fast food chains sell their menu’s for £4-6 for a meal with food and drinks.

At various pubs you can order an English breakfast, often served all day, for £4-5. A pint of beer at the same pub will cost you £3-4.

If you want to up the standard a little bit you can head for restaurants like Nando’s, Pizza Express and Wagamama. These sell main dishes for £8-10 and drinks for £3-4.

A meal at an indian restaurant in Birmingham will cost appx. £10.
